Heritage Guitars Sold to New Owners

May 25, 2016 by Josh

Last month, Heritage Guitars announced that they had been sold to new owners:

“The new ownership group is led by private local investors who have a long track record of revitalizing buildings and businesses in the Kalamazoo area,” said a news release by Kyle Sobko, marketing director for Heritage Guitar Inc. The ownership group is not named in the release.

I’m a fan of Heritage Guitars, and have owned one of their Millennium models in the past. It was a well-made guitar and was equivalent to many Gibson guitars that I’ve played.

I’m really glad that Heritage has some new life. I love the history of the company, and I hope the new owners are able to take that history and improve upon it even more. And, hopefully, they can get more dealers so that their guitars are more widely available.
