Ibanez have announced a limited edition 25th anniversary Paul Gilbert Signature model guitar, the FRM250MF (description from Sweetwater):
Paul Gilbert is an ace guitarist who’s always spot on with his tone and technique, and his signature Ibanez solidbody electrics are spec’d to facilitate that level of uncompromised performance. The FRM250MF Limited Edition rocks an eye-catching (and comfortable) “Fireman” mahogany body with a gorgeous flame maple top. The lightning-fast neck topped is with a rosewood fingerboard and medium frets. A trio of DiMarzio pickups in an HSH configuration serve up a universe of tone, while the Tight Tune bridge and stoptail deliver prodigious sustain.
