James Page, Skiffle Hero?

This is an early video of Jimmy Page from 1957 where Page is playing skiffle music, which was popular in the UK in the 50s. I, for one, am glad that he got into blues music a little later!

    WOW. What a difference just 7 or 8 years makes- especially during that time. Jimmy looks like something out of Leave It to Beaver and would have probably fit right in.

    When I saw him playing Dazed and Confused with Zep in 72 it was, um, slightly different- as in how a light show might be considered different form a utility bulb.

    Yeah, it’s amazing to see how much he evolved between the time this was created and the time he started playing with the Yardbirds.
