Andy Timmons is a phenomenal and versatile guitarist. He’s probably best known for his rock fusion licks, but the video below shows that he also has some great country licks! The video is from Andy’s DVD Live Resolution and is of the song “Headed For the Ditch”.
This guy is simply amazing
Andy Timmons is among my favorite guitarists. In particular, I enjoy and am moved by his more soulful and melodic compositions like Resolution, Ghost of You and The Prayer/The Answer.
Listening to the richness and depth of his tone persuaded me to get a Mesa Boogie amp last year. I just wish he’d record more new material – more often. There are only two albums available on itunes.
