Below is a video of guitarist Carl Verheyen playing Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing”. It’s a really interesting take on the tune.
I recently “discovered” Carl Verheyen via some YouTube clips like this one, and I’m really enjoying his playing. He’s also recently released his latest album, called Trading 8’s. The new album features collaborations with Joe Bonamassa, Scott Henderson, Steve Morse, Robben Ford, Rick Vito, and Albert Lee.

Nice. Definitely one of the better versions of this Hendrix tune. I’ll check out more of Carl’s work.
If you like guitar music, you should definitely check out more of Carl’s music. His intervallic guitar method also looks pretty good, although I haven’t had a chance to review it in depth.
