I recently started reading the book Clapton’s Guitar by Allen St. John, which is about guitarmaker Wayne Henderson and the story behind Eric Clapton ordering a guitar made by Wayne. Early in the book, St. John says that most guitar players he knows have GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome). I found this quote quite funny and, in point of fact, quite true as well! Most guitar players I know are always looking towards the next guitar acquisition. Do you have GAS? I do! 🙂
