Led Zeppelin Channel

Guitarkadia recently posted about the Led Zeppelin channel on YouTube featuring many rare 8mm video clips of Led Zeppelin throughout the years. Here’s a great early clip of Zeppelin from 1969 playing Dazed and Confused:

Cool video.

So many people are surprised when I tell them Page played a Tele and preformed some of the same tunes with The Yardbirds.

I saw Zeppelin perform and open the concert with Dazed and Confused (April 1970) when I was a teen. Of course, he had switched to a Les Paul by then.

I love watching Page play with a Tele. The Telecaster gets a bad rep because many of today’s players think of it as only a country guitar.

I think the Telecaster has made a bit of a resurgence over the past few years. I see players of all genres playing Telecasters now. It’s a very versatile guitar, as Page shows here.
