Gov’t Mule Playing Broke Down on the Brazos on Sirius XM
Gov’t Mule recently performed their new song “Broke Down on the Brazos” for Sirius XM’s Jam On channel. This is one of my favorite tracks from their new album, and I like their live take on it as well. It’s also interesting to watch Warren Haynes switch between the neck and bridge pickups throughout the song. Here’s the video of the performance:

Yeah, I agree. This is a cool song with driving bass and some fresh blues riffs…not to mention the nice to and fro work on that Les Paul’s toggle switch. I think I’ll be buying my first Gov’t Mule album.
You won’t be disappointed, Ed! Although, I’d also recommend getting either of their first two records. Those are also very good.
Great! Real Music! Great voice. I love hearing variations of the blues. Will look into these guys a little more.
