Their album Nantucket Sleighride was relatively fresh at that time. My principle instrument then was bass and as such, the late and great Felix Papparlardi was an enormous influence. Mountain did not disappoint – their show was excellent. Leslie made that Les Paul Junior with a single (P-90) soapbar pickup roar. It’s good to see West in the spotlight again. He has been a devoted teacher, always willing to share his knowledge. He deserves every bit of praise. Currently, my primary guitar is a PRS Custom 24 and so I also enjoyed the Mark Tremonti video.
