Gary Moore in Conversation

The following is a video of Gary Moore in an interview with Neville Marten for Guitarist magazine. In the video, Gary discusses how he chooses guitars and why he might choose an ES-335 instead of a Les Paul for a particular song. He also plays some great licks during the interview.

It’s hard to find words to do justice to the guitar playing of Gary Moore. He’s beyond fantastic. JAW-DROPPING is a serviceable term.

Unbelievable tone that’s entirely and inimitably from his fingers…that’s where all the “effects” come from. This man is without question one of the elite Rock/Metal guitar players ever. And his blues is great as well (though when Gary plays blues, it almost always sounds like Hard Rock to me).

Gary you are as awe inspiring as ever.
