Design Your Own Les Paul
Frank Montag has a fun Flash application on his Web site that you can use to design your dream Les Paul. It’s surprisingly fun. You can pretty much customize any feature of the guitar, including the type of top, whether to include graphics, whether to use gold or silver hardware, and just about anything else you can think of.
There’s little practical value to the application, as you can’t order the guitar, but perhaps you can use this application to design your dream guitar that you can then post up on your wall to help inspire you. Here’s what I came up with:

Now that is one sexy Les Paul. That is exactly how I’d want it!
Very cool looking LP you’ve designed there. Make mine just like that only make it one of those chambered Les Paul’s that don’t weigh a ton.

Remember those Les Paul Jr. Kits you used to be able to order from gibson where they would send you all the parts and you could build your own les paul jr? Kinda like guitar ikea…
I actually found some of one of those on the side of the road once. I mean to peice it together one day but for now it sits in the closet at my parents’ house.

Just so you know, the guitar you designed IS the PRS Tremonti. And it’s light.
