Not sure if you already mentioned this elsewhere on the site, but I heard that they even are trying to "bluff" Plant into joining the tour.

It's just speculation but it is rumored that the other members have stated they are touring and if Plant does not wish to reunite, they will be using the front man from Alter Bridge.

Weird!

[...] I mentioned a few weeks ago that Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and Jason Bonham were in the studio jamming together and writing new material. It seems like politics may prevent a full reunion with Robert Plant from occurring, but MusicRadar is reporting that Plant may be interested in a potential reunion, there’s just a lot of paperwork to fill out: Just for the O2 show, Plant says, “The endless paperwork was like nothing I’ve experienced before. I’ve kept every one of the emails that were exchanged before the concert and I’m thinking of compiling them for a book, which I feel sure would be hailed as a sort of literary version of Spinal Tap.” [...]

@Jon - I guess, technically, that's only 1/2 of the original Led Zep. But, it sounds like at least Page and Jones are willing to accept Jason as an equal. Although it's true that no one can replace John Bonham. That guy was a drumming animal.

@Robert - I agree, although I think it'll be even better if they can somehow convince Plant to join them.

Whoah, that is interesting news! I agree about the drummer though... he was THE major force in the band. Hope they can convince Plant eventually - it would still be great to hear what they come up with.

Isn't that technically 1/2 of Zep? They will never be the same without John.
