3/4 of Led Zeppelin Working on New Material
BBC News is reporting that members of Led Zeppelin are in the studio working on new songs. Jason Bonham is playing drums with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones on the sessions, but Robert Plant has not been involved. Furthermore, it would seem unlikely that an album would actually come of the sessions. According to Bonham:
“Lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out [before an album could be made].”

@Jon - I guess, technically, that’s only 1/2 of the original Led Zep. But, it sounds like at least Page and Jones are willing to accept Jason as an equal. Although it’s true that no one can replace John Bonham. That guy was a drumming animal.
@Robert - I agree, although I think it’ll be even better if they can somehow convince Plant to join them.

I’ve kept every one of the emails that were exchanged before the concert and I’m thinking of compiling them for a book, which I feel sure would be hailed as a sort of literary version of Spinal Tap.” [...]
