His music has an almost tangible mojo and vibe: You can feel that what he's creating is coming from the center of his soul. Who cares about people calling him a throwback? At least he's self-created and not some conjured and contrived look and sound like so many pop stars out there. Can you say Britney Spears? The thing I appreciate about Lenny Kravitz is that he doesn’t write music to fit anyone’s vision but his own.
