I've never heard of the Intellitouch tuner. Thanks for pointing it out! It'd be nice to be able to tune an electric on the fly without having to plug it in, which it looks like that tuner will do. You clamp it to the headstock and it picks up on string vibrations. It works for both electric and acoustic guitars (and other stringed instruments, I think). You don't have to plug it in, and it's not affected by any noise around you. Glad to see you're becoming active on the Guitar Blog again!
